During the Himachal Day celebrations in Reckongpeo, Kinnaur district, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu honored several distinguished personalities for their contributions to the state. Among the notable recipients was Prem Lal Gautam, who received the Padma Shri earlier this year. The awards included the Civil Services Award, which recognized the efforts of Mandi Deputy Commissioner Apoorv Devgan and the Department of Digital Technology and Governance, as well as individual honors for Balh Sub-Divisional Magistrate Smritika Negi. The Prerna Srot Samman was awarded to individuals such as Charu Sharma and Chhonzin Angmo, along with members of the women's national kabaddi team including Ritu Negi and Sakshi Sharma. Additionally, the Himachal Gaurav Award was presented to several individuals, including O P Sharma and Brij Sharma, recognizing their significant contributions to society. District-level awards were also given to police personnel and Public Works Department officials for their exemplary service.
