Released on March 19, with previews on March 18, Dhurandhar 2 has made history as the first Bollywood film to cross the ₹1,000 crore milestone. Its initial weeks were strong, earning ₹674.17 crore in the first week, ₹263.65 crore in the second week, ₹110.60 crore in the third week, and ₹54.21 crore in the fourth week. The recent slowdown is attributed to the strong opening of Akshay Kumar's Bhooth Bangla, which collected over ₹13 crore on its first day. The sequel continues the narrative of an Indian spy, Hamza Ali Mazari, as he navigates power structures in Lyari while dismantling a cross-border terror network.
