The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) is set to commence the Physical Measurement Test (PMT) for the recruitment of 5,500 constables in the Haryana Police starting tomorrow at Tau Devi Lal Stadium in Panchkula, Haryana, India. Approximately 2.70 lakh candidates have applied for these positions, and the PMT is a critical step in the selection process. The tests will utilize Aadhaar-based biometric verification and 25 sensor-based machines imported from Germany to ensure accurate height and chest measurements. Daily operations will begin at 6:30 am, initially accommodating 700 candidates, with plans to increase capacity to 1,500 to 2,000 and potentially up to 3,000 candidates per day. The entire recruitment process is expected to last between 60 to 80 days. Candidates will undergo strict security checks, document verification, and can appeal for re-measurement if dissatisfied with their results.
