Williams, who averaged 15.3 points, 3.5 rebounds, and a Big 12-leading 7.7 assists per game, is expected to enhance LSU's offensive capabilities after the team experienced a significant loss of young guards. Despite being a strong playmaker, her impressive assist numbers were also supported by her center, Audi Crooks. Williams has shown improvement in her shooting, achieving a career-high 30.3% from three-point range last season, although LSU may encourage her to increase her shooting volume. Previously, she committed to the Arizona Wildcats and has been recognized as a McDonald's All-American and a Top-25 recruit.
