The Chepauk-Thiruvallikeni Assembly Constituency, located in Chennai district, Tamil Nadu, will participate in the upcoming 2026 Tamil Nadu Assembly elections. The Election Commission of India has announced a total of 24 candidates, including prominent figures such as Udhayanidhi Stalin from the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) and Aadirajaram from the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK). The constituency, which has 1,63,866 voters—comprising 79,412 men and 84,396 women—is reserved for the General category, with 12.37% of its population belonging to the Scheduled Caste community. The overall literacy rate stands at 90.33%, according to the 2011 Census. Voting is set for April 23, 2026, and the counting of votes will occur on May 4, 2026. In the previous 2021 elections, the DMK-led Secular Progressive Alliance won 159 out of 234 seats, while the AIADMK-led National Democratic Alliance secured 75 seats.
