If implemented, the ban could lead to increased delivery prices as companies may have to rely more on cars, which could raise operational costs and delivery times. DoorDash has expressed strong opposition to the ban, warning it could eliminate one-third of all deliveries and cost local businesses millions. As of now, no formal vote has been scheduled, leaving delivery prices unchanged for Boston residents.
