The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has made serious allegations against Raghav Chadha, claiming he sought to conspire with Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders for an Enforcement Directorate (ED) raid on fellow party member Ashok Kumar Mittal. AAP spokesperson Priyanka Kakkar stated that Chadha requested the raid during a recent meeting with BJP leaders and also sought Z+ security for himself, which he received. These allegations arise as the ED conducted searches at various locations linked to Mittal and his family in Punjab and Haryana, as part of a Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA) investigation into overseas financial transactions. Mittal, who was recently appointed Deputy Leader of AAP in the Rajya Sabha, has faced scrutiny over his educational institutions, including Lovely Professional University. Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann condemned the ED's actions as politically motivated, while AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal accused the central government of misusing agencies for political gain.
