The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has made significant adjustments to the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) timetable, now including Saturday examination sessions. This change aims to standardize scheduling and minimize confusion among candidates nationwide. The revised timetable specifies that candidates will have four examination sessions daily from Monday to Thursday, with session timings set from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM. Candidates are advised to arrive at their centers at least one hour before their scheduled session to ensure a smooth examination process. JAMB has also reiterated the importance of adhering to strict guidelines regarding banned items in examination halls, allowing only an HB pencil and the examination slip. The sale of application forms for the UTME will commence on January 26, 2026, marking the beginning of the registration process for the 2026/2027 academic session.
