It marks Kentucky’s first transfer portal commitment of the 2026 cycle. ESPN’s Jonathan Givony broke the news first. As a sophomore this past season, the 6-4, 180-pound Diallo appeared in 33 games (29 starts), averaging 15.7 points (48.9% shooting and 31.5% on 3-point shots), 4.5 assists, and 3.9 rebounds across 29.6 minutes per game. He scored 21+ points in four of his last five games while dishing out 18 assists over his final two contests. As a freshman in the 2024-25 season, the Tacoma (WA) native appeared in 31 games (22 starts) and averaged 11.1 points (47.3% shooting and 18.2% on 3-pointers), 2.7 assists, and 3.1 rebounds across 25.2 minutes per game. An added bonus of getting Diallo is that he has at least two seasons of eligibility remaining, and potentially three if the 5-in-5 proposal passes. Diallo was originally the 42nd-ranked recruit in the class of 2024 out of Prolific Prep in California, where he teamed up with 2026 Kentucky recruiting target Tyran Stokes.
