Noida Police have intensified their efforts to apprehend individuals involved in the violent workers' protests that occurred in Gautam Buddh Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, India. On Monday, police arrested Himanshu Thakur and Satyam Verma, two close associates of Aditya Anand, who is identified as the mastermind behind the protests. Acting on the orders of Police Commissioner Laxmi Singh, a team from the Phase-2 police station detained the suspects for allegedly inciting violence during labor demonstrations. Both Thakur and Verma are members of the 'Bigul Mazdoor Dasta' and were involved in orchestrating provocative acts during the protests. Their arrests followed the capture of Anand, who had been absconding and was arrested at Tiruchirappalli Railway Station in Tamil Nadu. Anand, who had a reward of ₹1 lakh (approximately $1,200 USD) for his capture, is accused of mobilizing workers and inciting unrest. Legal proceedings against all arrested individuals are currently underway as police continue their investigation into the protests.
