This milestone raises the stakes for upcoming films that are expected to chase similar success. Notable contenders include Ramayana, directed by Nitesh Tiwari and featuring a star-studded cast like Ranbir Kapoor and Yash, which is being touted as one of the most expensive Indian films ever. Another major project is Toxic, a period gangster thriller starring Yash, Kiara Advani, and Nayanthara, which is generating significant buzz. Raaka, a sci-fi film with a budget of ₹700 crore, features Allu Arjun and Deepika Padukone, promising to be a grand spectacle. Varanasi, directed by SS Rajamouli and featuring Mahesh Babu, has an even more staggering budget of ₹1300 crore.
