In the recent CBSE Class 10 examinations, four students from the Chandigarh tricity achieved a perfect score of 100%. The results, announced on Wednesday, showcased a significant rise in overall performance, with government schools also seeing improved pass rates.

Four students from the Chandigarh tricity achieved a perfect score of 100% in the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 10 examinations, with results announced on Wednesday. The top achievers include Aman Garg from St Joseph’s Senior Secondary School, Aryaman Mittal from St John’s High School, and Jaskirat Singh and Saanvi Walia from St Anne’s Convent School. Close behind were Anaya Nusrat and Prisha Sharma from Delhi Public School, each scoring 99.8%, along with Charvi Agarwal from Manav Mangal Smart School in Mohali. Government schools also showed improvement, with Abhay Singh from Government Model Senior Secondary School achieving the highest score of 98.8%. The overall pass percentage for government schools rose to 88.25%, reflecting a significant increase from 81.18% the previous year. A total of 9,356 students appeared for the exams, with 8,257 passing. Notably, the CBSE does not officially calculate or declare overall percentages for Class 10 results, leaving schools to determine scores based on the best five subjects.
