This decision follows the abrupt withdrawal of his previous Z+ security by the Punjab government, which has led to significant internal party tensions. Chadha's removal from the role of Deputy Leader in the Rajya Sabha and his replacement by Ashok Mittal have fueled speculation about his standing within the party. Criticism has emerged from AAP leaders, including Bhagwant Mann and Sanjay Singh, who accused Chadha of prioritizing public relations over substantive political issues. Additionally, allegations have surfaced suggesting that Chadha may have had discussions with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), raising concerns among party members about his loyalty. AAP spokesperson Priyanka Kakkar emphasized the need for Chadha to remember his political roots, as he was brought into the Rajya Sabha by AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal.
