The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) released the Class 10 examination results on April 15, 2026. Trivandrum and Vijayawada emerged as the top-performing regions, each achieving a remarkable pass percentage of 99.79%. The overall pass percentage for the year stands at 93.70%, reflecting a slight increase of 0.04% from the previous year. In Delhi, the East region recorded a pass percentage of 97.33% with 210,238 students appearing, while the West region had 134,989 students with a pass rate of 97.45%. Notably, 1.47 lakh students fell into the compartment category this year. Among school types, Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) led with a pass percentage of 99.57%, followed closely by Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) at 99.42%. Government schools recorded a pass rate of 91.43%, while private schools achieved 93.77%. CBSE has reiterated its policy of not ranking students or releasing a topper list to promote a healthier academic environment.
