SAMHI Hotels, through its subsidiary SAMHI Skyline, has entered into a lease agreement for a 162-room hotel in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India, as part of Ingka Centres' upcoming 2.5 million square feet mixed-use development. This initiative will follow SAMHI's long-term variable lease model, which emphasizes a capital-light approach while aligning interests with partners. The hotel will be managed under an international brand, which will be announced later. Ashish Jakhanwala, Chairman & Managing Director of SAMHI Hotels, highlighted that this partnership is a significant milestone, reinforcing their strategy in the National Capital Region. The Noida project is anticipated to cater to strong underlying demand, contributing to the development of a landmark hospitality asset in collaboration with Ingka Centres, part of the Ingka Group that operates IKEA Retail and Ingka Investments.
