In an open letter shared on social media, she expressed her concerns about the noise and disturbances caused by construction work at a property owned by Asit Kumar Modi, the producer of the popular show 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.' Dholakia emphasized that the construction activities are occurring well beyond permissible hours, significantly affecting the sleep and health of families in the area. She pointed out that these activities violate local regulations designed to protect residents' peace, particularly in residential zones. Dholakia urged the authorities to enforce compliance with construction hours, reduce noise pollution, and respect residents' rights to a peaceful living environment. Additionally, she shared her frustration over the lack of police response when she attempted to report the disturbances. If the situation does not improve, she warned that residents may escalate their complaints to municipal and environmental authorities.
