The Kings have struggled recently, losing their last two matches after a promising start to the season, and they hope Roy's addition will revitalize their batting order. Waseem's performance was below expectations with only 86 runs in five matches, while his opening partners have also faced difficulties, prompting the franchise to seek Roy's expertise.
