The Perambur Assembly Constituency, located in Chennai district, Tamil Nadu, will participate in the upcoming 2026 Tamil Nadu Assembly elections. This constituency, which has 2,22,792 voters (including 1,07,995 men and 1,14,726 women), is reserved for the General category and has a notable 90.33% literacy rate as per the Census of India 2011. Voting is set for April 23, 2026, with counting scheduled for May 4, 2026. In the previous assembly elections in 2021, the DMK-led Secular Progressive Alliance won a majority, securing 159 out of 234 seats.
