The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced the Class 10 results, revealing that the newly formed Lucknow region achieved a pass percentage of 91.63%, placing it at 15th among 22 regions. This is below the national average of 93.70%, which saw a marginal increase from 93.66% last year. The Prayagraj region experienced a decline, with a pass percentage of 89.45%, dropping to 17th from 15th last year. Similarly, the Noida region fell to 20th with a pass percentage of 87.66%, down from 16th in 2025. The southern regions dominated the rankings, with Trivandrum and Vijayawada jointly securing the top spot at 99.79%. CBSE has opted not to release a merit list to prevent unhealthy competition among students. This year, CBSE introduced two Board examinations for Class 10 students, with results declared on April 15, significantly earlier than the traditional mid-May timeline.
